TMc: M*A*S*H (TV Series 1972-1983) | Eastern North Carolina Now

The show was an ensemble piece revolving around key personnel in a United States Army Mobile Army Surgical Hospital (MASH) in the Korean War (1950-1953)

As the Vietnam War drew to a close, it was amusing to see Army comedy. Shows like Gomer Pyle USMC and McHale's Navy were popular during the war.

Conclusion: YouTube now has my favorite old comedies like Amos N' Andy, and Mash.

Believe it or not...there was a time when developmentally challenged guys (Three Stooges), funny policemen (Car 54 Where are You?), and straight married families (Father Knows Best) were not only acceptable but permitted the audience to laugh out loud.

I laughed at Red Skelton, I Love Lucy, and the Little Rascals. Am I the only one who remembers Red Rider and Little Beaver?

I am sorry that I do not think this season's comedies are funny.

I was researching Bridget Bardot and discovered she is now 83. I wish I were 18 again.

That’s because most Indian characters have non-speaking roles. As soon as your average Goombah opens his mouth the jig is up, however they also make great gangsters because they can be themselves.
