    Mack "Horace" Keech, age 83, a resident of Belhaven, NC died Thursday August 23, 2018.

    A funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM Saturday August 25, 2018 at Paul Funeral Home of Belhaven and will be officiated by Craig Hagen.

    Mr. Keech was born in Hyde County on January 8, 1935 to the late Jessie Albert Keech and Rachel Mae Boyd Keech. He was a Tugboat Captain for over 40 years. Mr. Keech enjoyed visiting with people, going to church and loved genealogy. He was a member of St. Clair's Church of Christ.

    Survivors include two daughters, Terry Lynn Keech Ussery and husband Adam of Wilson, Tammy Keech Smith and husband Terry Glenwood of Washington, two sons, Walton Albert Keech and wife Sherry of Pinetown, Michael Shane Miller and wife Cathy of Richmond, VA, five grandchildren, Adam Ussery Jr., Jason Keech, Stephen Ussery, Cameron Keech, Mason Miller and three great grandchildren.

    He is preceded in death by his siblings.

    The family will receive friends from 6:30 PM until 8:30 PM Friday August 24, 2018 at Paul Funeral Home of Belhaven and other times at the home of his son, Walton Albert Keech, 6997 Free Union Church Road, Pinetown.
