    Rudolph E. Bailey, age 86 of Pinetown, NC passed away August 14, 2018 in Washington, NC.

    Visitation will be held 1:00 pm, Saturday, August 25, 2018 at Mt. Zion Free Will Baptist Church, Yeatesville, NC. Funeral Service will be held 2:00 pm, Saturday, August 25, 2018 at Mt. Zion Free Will Baptist Church, Yeatesville, NC. Interment will follow at Holly Grove Disciples of Christ in the Sidney Community. Arrangements by Hillside Funeral Service.

    Rudolph was born in Washington, NC to Adolph and Mary Bailey on March 13, 1932. He attended school in Beaufort County. He married Lenora Spencer who preceded him last year. They were married for 64 years. He worked at Perkin Elmer in Connecticut retiring after 35 years.

    Rudolph is survived by six sons; Charles E. Bailey of Stamford, CT, Willie E. Bailey of Essex, CT, Rudolph E. Bailey of Washington, NC, Roy E. Bailey and wife Robin of Stratford, CT, Vincent G. Bailey of Pinetown, NC, and James Bailey of Bridgeport, CT, three daughters; Mary A. Bailey of Stamford, CT, Gloria J. Bailey of Bridgeport, CT, and Serena Bailey of Bridgeport, CT,

    Rudolph loved his grandchildren; Tamika Bailey, Troy Bailey, Rashida T. Bailey, Kayla Bailey, Myles Bailey, Craig Bailey, Juran Bailey, Roy Bailey, Thelma Bailey, Sharon Bailey, KJ Fulton, Michael Bailey, Joshua Bailey, Taron Jones, and Nasir Jones.

    Rudolph leaves behind a host of nieces and nephews. Sadly he leaves behind his brother, Adolph Bailey and wife Johnnie Gray of the Sidney Community, three sisters; Harriet J. Mann of South Norwalk, CT, Delores Bailey of South Norwalk, CT, and Trudy Bailey of Yeatesville, NC.

    Roy E. Bailey, James Bailey, Craig Bailey, Myles Bailey, Troy Bailey and Juron Bailey will serve as pallbearers.
