    Mrs. Alberta Young Norfleet, age 72, a resident of Belhaven, NC died Monday, August 20, 2018 at Vidant Medical Center in Greenville, NC.

    Born to the late Ethel Alboth Young Lazarro and Frederick Young in Boston, Massachusetts. Alberta was a member of the First Assembly of God in Belhaven, NC and a homemaker. Alberta was a faithful wife to her surviving husband Henry Norfleet. Also surviving are two daughters; Rebecca N. Dezern and Lisa Boudreau, three sons; Henry E. Norfleet, Jr, Timothy M. Norfleet, and Raymond Boudreau. She is also survived by three grandchildren and one great-grandson. In addition to her parents she was predeceased by two sisters; Louise Wachosky and Linda Reardon and one brother Raymond Autilio.

    Alberta also loved knitting scarves for the homeless and reading her Bible whenever she had a minute. She was a great wife, mother and friend. She will be missed by all that knew her. A celebration of her life will be held 2:00 pm, Friday, August 24, 2018 at the First Assembly of God Church, Belhaven, NC, 765 US Hwy 264 Bypass, with a one hour visitation prior to the service at the church. Interment will be held at Pamlico Memorial Gardens, Washington, NC. Donations may be directed to the Christian Ministry of your choice.
