Mrs. Michelle Leigh O'Neal Myers | Eastern NC Now

    Mrs. Michelle Leigh O'Neal Myers, age 49, a resident of 2132 Creek Road, Bath, died Wednesday, Feb. 29, 2012, at Vidant Beaufort Hospital.

    A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at Bath Christian Church, officiated by the Rev. Curtis White.

    Mrs. Myers was born in Lenoir County on Feb. 23, 1963, daughter of the late Robert Union O'Neal and Barbara Carole Francis O'Neal, who survives. She was a graduate of Bath High School and received her Associate's Degree in Nursing from Beaufort County Community College and her Bachelor's Degree in Nursing from East Carolina University.

    In 1986, Mrs. Myers married Marshall Myers, who survives. Mrs. Myers worked as a registered nurse at Vidant Medical Center and Vidant Pungo Hospital. She was a member of Bath Christian Church.

    In addition to her husband and mother, Mrs. Myers is survived by two sons, Matthew Myers of Bath, and Marcus Myers of Bath and Greenville; a brother, Robert O'Neal and wife Wanda of Macclesfield; two sisters, Lisa O. Yates and husband Danny of Greenville, and Barbara O. Kinnion and husband Robert of Washington.

    The family requests no flowers, but memorials may be made to the American Heart Association, 3219 Landmark St., Unit 9, Greenville, NC 27834.

    The family will receive friends at the home located at 2132 Creek Road, Bath, NC 27808.
