    Mrs. Jennette Harris Woolard Braswell, age 90, a resident of Washington, NC died Wednesday October 17, 2018 at Ridgewood Manor.

    A graveside service will be held Saturday October 20, 2018 at 12:00 PM at Oakdale Cemetery in Washington and will be officiated by Tony Krantz.

    Mrs. Braswell was born on May 13, 1928 to the late Grover Cleveland Harris and Florence Paramore Harris. She served as a Short Order Cook for Adam's Soda Shop and Carolina Dairies. She was a member of Beaver Dam Church of Christ. Mrs. Braswell loved being outdoors, gardening, flowers, farming, cooking but most of all she loved her family. She was always ready to lend a helping hand.

    Survivors include four children, Kathy Woolard Bowen of Manson, Whitford Dale Woolard and wife Jeannie of Bath, Debra Woolard Fraley and husband Michael of Chocowinity, Karen Woolard Heffley and husband Kenneth of Bath, a daughter-in-law, Kaye Latham Woolard of Washington, five grandchildren, Cynthia Bowen Brand, Stephanie Bowen Kelly, Mandy Woolard Hedgepeth, Matthew Curtis Woolard, Cameron Waters Clinard, six great grandchildren, two sisters, Dallas Campbell and Rue Moseley, and several nieces and nephews.

    She is preceded in death by her first husband Whitford Curtis Woolard, her late husband George Edison Braswell, a son, Curtis Wayne Woolard, two grandchildren, Laura Elizabeth Woolard, Shanna Noel Woolard, a son-in-law, Frankie Jordan Bowen and 7 brothers and sisters.

    The family will receive friends from 11:00 AM until 12:00 PM Saturday October 20, 2018 at Paul Funeral Home & Crematory of Washington.
