    Mr. Kenneth Columbus Snow, age 85, former President of Beaufort Equipment Company, died Monday, February 18, 2019 at his home.

    Graveside services will be held 11:00 AM Thursday, February 21, 2019 at Oakdale Cemetery in Washington, conducted by Dr. Robert Cayton. The family will receive friends following the service at the graveside.

    Mr. Snow was born in the Terra Ceia community of Beaufort county on October 26, 1933. He was the son of the late Christopher Columbus Snow and Odell Dixie Lawrence Snow. Mr. Snow attended Washington High School and graduated from Randolph Macon Academy. He served in the U.S. Coast Guard. After his military service, Mr. Snow joined the family business with his father in 1953. He was a former Mason, Shriner and Jaycee. Mr. Snow was past president of the North Carolina/ South Carolina Farm Dealers Association.

    On October 3, 1954, Mr. Snow married the former Fay Oden, who preceded him in death, September 15, 2014.

    Mr. Snow is survived by two sons, Kenneth Snow, Jr. and wife, Connie; Sam Snow and wife, Laurie; daughter, Teresa DeMartin and husband, Frank all of Washington; three grandchildren, Payne Snow and special friend, Linsey Prewitt of Washington, Ashleigh DeMartin Wilson and husband, Colt of Washington, Joseph Christopher DeMartin and fiancée, Paige Casey of Raleigh; brother, Eddie Snow, wife, Barbara and daughter, Cathy of Washington; niece, Ann Oden Forehand and husband, Roy of Edenton; cousin, William Snow of Stuart, FL.

    The family would like to offer their appreciation for the care given to Mr. Snow by Golden Way and its staff, Mona Holley, Michelle Corey, Donna Murphy and Community Hospice for their professional support.

    In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the First Christian Church, 307 East 3rd Street, Washington, N.C. 27889 or the Marion L. Shepard Cancer Center, 1209 Brown Street, Washington, N.C. 27889
