    Mr. Marvin LeRoy "Lee" Mills, Jr., age 62, a resident of 227 Clayton Street, Washington, died Wednesday, April 24, 2019 at his home.

    A memorial service will be held 7:00 PM Monday, April 29, 2019 from the Chapel of Paul Funeral Home & Crematory in Washington, conducted by Rev. David Radford.

    Mr. Mills was born in Beaufort County on December 2, 1956. He was the son of the late Marvin LeRoy Mills, Sr. and Phebie Cayton Mills. Mr. Mills worked for 30 years as a millwright and welder. He was a past member of the Masonic Lodge.

    On May 7, 1984, Mr. Mills married the former Linda Ruth Haddock, who survives.

    In addition to his wife, Mr. Mills is survived by his son, Marvin "Nabe" Mills and his wife, Ashly of Pell City, Alabama; three grandchildren, Hunter Mills, Makenzie Mills, Abbigail Mills; mother, Phebie Mills of Chocowinity; sister, Beth Dunn of Chocowinity; two nieces, Doni Pflomm and husband, Ray of Camp Lejeune, N.C., Brandy Haddock of Greenville; two nephews, Stephen Dunn of Millersville, GA,, Dustin Haddock of Washington; and mother in law, Ruth Wiggins of Washington.

    In addition to his father, Mr. Mills Was preceded in death by a niece, Laura Toler.

    The family will receive friends at his home.
