Ronnie Seaton Respess | Eastern NC Now

    Ronnie Seaton Respess, 64, a resident of 24178 N.C. Highway 32, Plymouth, died Thursday morning, April 26, 2012, at Vidant Inpatient Hospice in Greenville.

    The family will receive friends from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. today at Paul Funeral Home & Crematory of Washington.

    Mr. Respess was born in Beaufort County on Oct. 7, 1947, son of the late Seaton Oscar Respess and Elizabeth Latham Respess. He was married to the former Marguerite "Sue" White who preceded him in death. Mr. Respess was employed with the N.C. Department of Transportation for 27 years as a fuel truck driver. He was a member of Long Acre Chapel Christian Church.

    He is survived by his son, John Respess of Pittsboro; his stepchildren, Victor Rule of Austin, Texas, Vickie Jones of Maysville, Suzanne White of Washington, Faron White of Plymouth, Bonnie White of Hilton Head Island, S.C., Joe White of Minnesota, and Christina Roop of Beaufort, S.C.; his brother, Hassel Respess and wife Mary Ella Bell Respess of Chocowinity; 11 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

    In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Long Acre Chapel Christian Church, 24597 N.C. Highway 32 North, Plymouth, NC 27962.
