Frank C. Winstead, Jr.

Frank Charles Winstead, Jr. entered the peace of his Heavenly Father's arms on Friday July 31, 2020 in Vidant Medical Center at the age of 68. He was born in Nash County, N.C. on Friday October 26, 1951 to the late Frank Charles Winstead, Sr. and Irene Parker Winstead. Frank was a member of Harvest Church in Washington where he served many years on the tech team and had been active serving many programs including the ARCs Special Olympics. His most loved career was long distance truck driving for about twenty years, and in his later years driving for Enterprise Rental Co.
A celebration of Franks life will be held 3:00 p.m. Wednesday August 5, 2020 at Harvest Church, 2020 West 15th Washington. The service will be officiated by Pastor Thad Tankard. Burial will follow in Jamesville Cemetery.
The family will receive friends 2:00 p.m. until the funeral hour Wednesday at the church.
Frank was predeceased by sisters: Bonnie Cline, Cathy Chamberlayne, and JoAnn Winstead. Survivors include siblings: Chris Winstead, Stacy Winstead, Shannon Medina, Cathy Jo Ball and Jannie Winstead; Daughter: Michelle Gardner and husband Bill; sons: Charles Winstead and wife Beth, and Dustin Winstead and girlfriend Natalie: grandchildren: Brittany, Caroline, and Susan Gardner, Grace Harrell, Carson, Madison, and Hudson Winstead and great grandchild Aubrey Harrell.
