It’s Going To Be Deli-Cious! King's Deli Opens in Uptown | Eastern North Carolina Now

Press Release:

GREENVILLE, NC     King's Deli crafting "sandwiches for the people" is set to open September 26th located at 201 E. Fifth St. in Uptown Greenville. The deli will be open every day from 11am-3pm.

Local restaurant owners, Toby and Kelly Boutilier, came up with the idea when a gentleman stopped into Starlight Cafe asking if there was a deli nearby. "After mentioning it to Toby, my husband, we decided what a perfect niche we could fill," said Kelly Boutilier. The Boutiliers also own Starlight Café and Moxie Pop in Uptown Greenville.

King's Deli, named after their son Kinglsey, will specialize in delicious sandwiches made with house-roasted meats, local produce, fine cheeses, and fresh bread. There will also be vegan, vegetarian, and gluten free options available.

"I love this town and community with all my heart. Opening in Greenville's Uptown community was a no brainer," said Boutilier. She explained how the location is perfect with walkability, and the history of the building. One of the aspects that the Boutiliers are most proud of is how they incorporated local artists. "Given that the deli was the original location for the Greenville Museum of Art, we thought it would be fitting to have rotating art shows at the deli," said Kelly Boutilier.

King's Deli will offer picnic baskets perfect for customers who want to soak up the sun on the Town Common. They will also have an outdoor patio perfect for dining, acoustic performances, games, and family fun.

Their grand opening will take place Saturday, September 26th from 11am-3pm. They are partnering with Pitt Friends and Mady Noel Photography for the opportunity to adopt a furry friend on their pet friendly patio. They will offer online and in-person ordering, curbside pickup, and catering options for customers.
