    Mr. Elton Winford Cutler, Jr., age 66, a resident of the Long Acre Community of Plymouth, NC died Tuesday October 20, 2020.

    A funeral service will be held 11:00 a.m. Saturday October 24, 2020 at New Hope Church of Christ, located at 146 Swamp Road, Pantego, NC, officiated by Billy Ray Askew. Burial will follow in Acre Chapel Church Cemetery. Jerry Beasley, Terry Robinson, Hallas Boyd, Ralph Brinn, Matt Respass and Ronnie Respass will serve as pallbearers.

    The family will receive friends 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Friday October 23, 2020 at New Hope Church and other times at the home.

    Mr. Cutler was born in Beaufort County on September 17, 1954 son of the late Elton W. Cutler, Sr. and Nellie Mae Cutler who survives. He was a 1972 graduate of Pantego High School. His lifelong career and love was being a farmer who also worked some in trucking. He loved his family, fishing, playing cards and dominos. He was a member of New Hope Church of Christ.

    Surviving along with his wife; Janet of the home and mother: Nellie Cutler of Plymouth are his children: Joel Cutler Nixon (Jeffery) of Plymouth and Elton Scott Cutler (Susan) of Washington; sisters: Diane Asby (Stan) of Greenville and Cathy Roberson (Ted) of Newport News, VA and grandchildren: Elton Shawn Cutler, Jordan McKenzie Cutler, Tanner Scott Woolard and Sierra Cutler Woolard.

    Flowers are welcome and appreciated and the family kindly asks that any memorial Contributions be made to New Hope Church of Christ, C/O Marvin Smith, 24 Pungo View Road, Belhaven, NC 27810.
