    Timothy Blane Toler, beloved son, father, and uncle, aged 62, resident of 185 Vadie Lane, Washington, NC, passed away Sunday, December 27, 2020.

    Tim was born on May 23, 1958 at the new Beaufort County Hospital, attended by Dr. John Cotton Tayloe. He attended various schools in Chocowinity, NC, Florida, Texas, Korea and Germany, as his father was in the military.

    Tim loved music. He played guitar, sang and wrote songs. He played in various little bands and actually had a recording made of his song, Saudi Sand. He wrote a special song for his mother titled "Mama."

    Tim was predeceased by his two beloved sisters, Vivian Marie Toler Christy and Rhonda Lee Toler Whitehurst, and his father, Heber L. Toler.

    Timothy is survived by his son, Marshall Shelton Sutton and a grandson, Lincoln Grey Sutton, who reside in Washington. He is also survived by his long time girlfriend, Deborah Jane Jackson, many musician friends, and many nieces and nephews.

    A celebration of his life and loving memorial of him will be held at 3:30 p.m. on Saturday, January 2, 2021 at the home of his mother, Patricia Toler, where we will welcome family and friends.
