    Good Morning Everyone,

    You are receiving the attached message and email below from Beaufort County's EOC as a method of keeping you informed about our county's response to COVID-19.

    Please see pages 3 & 4 of today's update for an announcement of additional vaccine opportunities for next week (1/20 - 1/22) and information on how COVID vaccine supplies and allocations impact on Beaufort County.

    Additional updates from our previous posting have been highlighted.

    We intend to send this update by 6pm each day until further notice.

    We ask that you assist us by sharing this information with your families, workplaces, and communities.

On March 25, 2024, Deputies with the Beaufort County Sheriff’s Office along with K-9 Tinnus arrested Todd Victor Bond on multiple drugs charges.
This afternoon’s update continued to shift the heavier snowfall slightly further inland, with areas along and east of Hwy 17 now forecasted to receive between 4 and 6 inches.
This morning’s update continued to shift the bulk of the forecasted precipitation south and east of our area.
Our office continues to monitor the development of this week’s winter weather.

The North Carolina Department of Health and Human Services is hosting a virtual meeting on Friday, March 1, 2024, for the Standardized Foster Care Trauma-Informed Assessment Workgroup.
Our office is monitoring the forecast of an approaching front moving through this afternoon that could produce heavy rainfall, isolated strong to severe thunderstorms, strong winds, coastal flooding, and dangerous marine conditions.
RALEIGH — The North Carolina Department of Health and Human Services today released a multi-year Direct Support Professional Workforce Plan.
On Monday, May 6, 2024, at the Beaufort County Commissioners' general meeting, Commissioner Stan Deatherage sponsored the Constitutional right of a Beaufort County citizen "to petition the Government for a redress of grievances."
