    Mrs. Ginger Courson Billups, age 74, a resident of Belhaven, NC died Thursday February 18, 2021 at Vidant Beaufort Hospital.

    Mrs. Billups was born in Covington, AL on June 1, 1946 to the late James Earl Courson and Cecelia Farrow Courson. She was a 1964 graduate of John A. Wilkerson High School and continued her education at East Carolina University and Beaufort County Community College. Mrs. Billups worked as a bookkeeper and controller for Pungo District Hospital for 37 years. On June 16, 1976 she married Frank Edward Billups. She was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church of Belhaven.

    Survivors include her husband Frank E. Billups of the home, two sons, Paul Andrews and wife Dana of Belhaven, Jeremy Andrews and wife Candace of Bath; a daughter, Julie Marie Billups-Rattler of Aurora; a stepson, Edward Kent Billups of Belhaven; six grandchildren; and a brother Marvin "Reid" Courson (Janet Ross) of Bath.

    She is preceded in death by her brother James Wesley Courson and a granddaughter April Renee Billups Torres.
