Mrs. Gisela V. Eubanks | Eastern NC Now

   Mrs. Gisela V. Eubanks, age 83, a resident of McNair St., Washington, NC, died Monday, July 30, 2012 at home with her family. A celebration of her life will be held Thursday, August 2, 2012 at 11:00 AM in the chapel of Hillside Funeral Service officiated by Rev. Bob Paciocco. Marvin L. Eubanks, Ted W. Eubanks, Keith Douglas, Jonathan Eubanks, Stuart Eubanks and Tyler Douglas will serve as pallbearers. The family will receive friends immediately following the service. Burial will follow the visitation at Pamlico Memorial Gardens, Washington, NC.

   Gisela was born in Jeseritz, Germany on February 24, 1929 daughter of Franz and Hedwig Rohde Villwock. She was a homemaker and married to Marvin Wells Eubanks of the home who survives.

   In addition to her husband, she is survived by her children, Marvin Leonard Eubanks and wife Denise, Rosie Eubanks Douglas and husband Keith all of Washington and Ted William Eubanks and wife Robbie of Raleigh, her brother Guenter Villwock and wife Dene of New Bern, her sister, Ursula Hendrich of Bremerhaven, Germany, six grandchildren, three great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

   Gisela was preceded in death by one great-granddaughter.

   The Eubanks family would like to extend their deepest appreciation for the love and care that was provided by AseraCare Hospice of Greenville, NC and Care Partners of Ayden, NC.

   In lieu of flowers the family requests that memorials be made to the Humane Society of Beaufort County, PO Box 8, Washington, NC 27889.
