Helen Moseley Gant
December 10, 1927 – April 14, 2021
Helen was born in Wilmington, NC, spending her summers on Masonboro Sound. She attended Mary Baldwin College and graduated from UNCG.
Her two happy marriages include a union in April 1952 to Bancroft Ficklen Moseley. They had three daughters. In May 1979, Cecil "Chet" Gant Jr and Helen married. She was warmly embraced by the Gant family, whom she loved.
Helen loved her time on the Pamlico River and being creative was an avid weaver, needlepointer and gardener. In addition, she was a member of St. Peter's Episcopal Church in Washington NC.
She was preceded in death by her husbands and a brother, Glasgow Hicks Jr.
Surviving family members include three daughters- Helen Moseley Chasson, Elizabeth Moseley Selleck and Nell Glasgow Moseley, a grandchild- Katherine "Katie" Hammond Wall, a brother-John Russell Hicks, a sister-Sally Hicks Reardon, 1 nephew- Glasgow Hicks III, and 2 nieces- Charlotte Spears Hicks and Janet Hicks Parker.
Due to Covid-19, funeral services were attended by immediate family only.

Mrs. Brenda Kaye Cox Alligood, age 74, a resident of Slatestone Road, Washington passed away, Friday, June 11, 2021 with her family by her side after bravely fighting kidney disease.
Elijah Alexander Foreman, age 2, a resident of Chocowinity, received his wings and went to be with the Lord on Tuesday June 1, 2021 at the Vidant Beaufort Hospital after a long illness.
