Lisabeth Gerard “Bonnie” Hoffman | Eastern NC Now

   Lisabeth Gerard “Bonnie” Hoffman, age 46, a resident of Greenville, NC died Friday August 10, 2012 at Vidant Medical Center of Greenville.

   A graveside funeral service will be held 11 AM Monday August 13, 2012 at Oakdale Cemetery of Washington officiated by Pastor Arnold Price.

   Bonnie was born in Beaufort County on September 4, 1965 daughter of the late Alpern Parker Gerard, Sr. and the late Lynn Oriel Kelly Gerard. She was a 1983 graduate of Washington High School and attended N.C. State University. She married Doug Hoffman who preceded her in death. Bonnie married John M. “Jay” Boyd on September 5, 2009 who survives. She was a member of Coastal Conservation Association and First Presbyterian Church of Washington.

   Bonnie is survived by her husband Jay of the home; a son: Will Hoffman of Greenville a brother: Alpern Parker “Al” Gerard, Jr. and his wife Susan of Blounts Creek and nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends 7 PM to 8:30 PM Sunday August 12, 2012 at Paul Funeral Home & Crematory of Washington and other times at the home. In lieu of flowers the family kindly asks for memorial contributions to be made to Coastal Conservation Association, 4809 Hargrove Rd. Suite 123 Raleigh, NC 27616.
