    Mr. Leadonne Granville "Leo" Myers, Sr., age 82, a resident of Washington, NC died Saturday May 8, 2021 at Vidant Inpatient Hospice in Greenville.

    A graveside memorial service will be held later at the mausoleum in Pamlico Memorial Gardens in Washington.

    Mr. Myers was born in Springfield, IL on March 12, 1939, son of the late Henry Granville Myers and the late Elizabeth Letricia Glick Myers. August 20, 1961 was a special day for him and held a special memory of the day he and the former Ann Eula Truscott were united in marriage. He served his country in the U.S. Navy for twenty-eight years and fourteen days. During his military career he served four tours in Vietnam and retired as Senior Chief. Mr. Myers loved collecting coins, Hot wheels match box cars and guns. His greatest love was his family.

    Surviving along with his wife: Ann of the home are his children: Leadonne G. "Butch" Myers, Jr. of Camden, Tina Lynn McCoy Myers of Benicia, CA, and Brice Alton Myers and his wife Sarah of Charlotte; a sister: Sandy Perrine and her husband Ray of Springfield, IL; and a grandson: Zachary Myers of Swannanoa.

    In lieu of flowers the family kindly asks for memorial contributions be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
