Greece deports 2 migrants for every new arrival | Eastern NC Now

 

For the first 5 months of 2021, Greece's conservative government has deported two illegal alien migrants for every newly arrived migrant. reducing the numbers in holding camps.  Since taking power from the left, the conservative New Democracy Party government has taken a hard line on illegal immigration.  They have deployed military forces to the border to stop migrants, including warships and tanks, built new border walls, and deployed sound cannon to deter border crossers.  Most importantly they have stepped up deportation of migrants already in the country.

 

 

Maybe we need to ask the Greeks for advice on dealing with our illegal alien migrants.
