Poland is latest EU country to announce border wall to stop illegal aliens | Eastern NC Now

Poland is the latest European country to announce that it is building a border wall to stop illegal alien migrants from Third World countries from crossing the border.  The wall will be 8 feet high and solid, then topped with razor wire.   Poland recently sent army troops to the border with Belarus to assist border police in preventing unlawful entry into the country. and its populist / nationalist conservative Law and Justice Party government has also announced a reinforcement of army troops on the border.

Poland's neighbor, LIthuania, has already started on building a border wall with Belarus and has also sent troops to the border with orders to use force if necessary to prevent crossing by illegal aliens.  Lithuania's government is run by the conservative Homeland Union Party.

Belarus has been working with an Iraqi airline to fly Third World migrants from Baghdad, mostly Iraqi, Syrian, and Afghan, but also from Africa, to Belarus and then busing them to the borders of LIthuania and Poland.  The EU has denounced the operation as a form of "hybrid warfare".  Some migrants are starting to end up in a no-mans land, between armed Polish or Lithuanian soldiers who do not let them in, and Belarus soldiers who will not let them return to Belarus.

Farther south, Europe's land border with Turkey also now features a wall along its entire length. The Turkish land border was a source of much illegal alien penetration in 2015.  Bulgaria has long had a very formidable wall on its section of the border, and Greece has now joined it with a brand new 18 foot high bollard wall, much like the Trump wall on the US southern border.
