    Mrs. Patricia Pearl Buck Weston, age 77, a resident of 294 Weston Drive, Blounts Creek, NC died Friday August 13, 2021 at Vidant Medical Center in Greenville.

    A funeral service will be held 2:00 p.m. Wednesday August 18, 2021 at Elizabeth Chapel Church of Christ officiated by Kent Gurganus. Burial will follow in the Weston Family Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Michael Cornelius, Patrick Baker, Mack Wallace, Chris Sireci, Rod Weston, and Michael Weston. Honorary pallbearers will be Zack Sireci and Kevin Smith.

    Mrs. Weston was born in Pitt County on February 11, 1944, daughter of the late Coy Glen Buck, Sr., and the late Pearly Briley Buck. She was a 1961 graduate of Stokes-Pactolus High School. On May 14, 1965 she married Durwood S. Weston, Sr. who preceded her in death on May 29, 2011. Mrs. Weston loved flowers, butterflies and plants, but nothing compared to the love she had for family. She was a faithful member of Elizabeth Chapel Church of Christ.

    Survivors include a son: Durwood "Scott" Weston, Jr. of Blounts Creek; three daughters: Jennifer W. Cornelius and husband Michael of Blounts Creek, Angela W. Baker and husband Patrick of Grantsboro, Holly W. Wallace and husband Mack of Washington; a brother: Coy Glenn Buck, Jr. of Scranton; three sisters: Lisa Smartnick and husband Jimmy of Greenville, Sandra Bland and husband Paul of Winterville and Elaine O'Neal and husband Joe of Pennsylvania; six grandchildren: Chris Sireci, Kara Sireci, Zach Sireci, Kevin Smith, Lilly Wallace and Emely Wallace.

    The family will receive friends from 12 noon until the funeral hour at Elizabeth Chapel Church of Christ, 1998 Herring Run Road, Blounts Creek, NC 27814, and other times at the home.
