Biden climate pledge would bring massive taxes and end of NatGas | Eastern NC Now

liberal experts project massive new taxes

ENCNow

Think Biden is done wrecking America? Guess again. Liberal experts from a number of environmentalist groups say that Biden's climate pledges would require virtually phasing out of natural gas, which heats and/or powers some appliances in half of the homes in America and also powers a large part of electricity generation.  It would also require a large "carbon tax" that would be passed on to consumers on most products and many services.  Gasoline would be hard hit with such a tax and add to the huge gas price increases we have already seen under Biden.  It would be a huge boost to inflation and the cost of living.

Here in North Carolina, we even have some RINOs pushing this Green New Deal nonsense.  See House Bill 951.  That bill would stick it to electric ratepayers as well as taxpayers, all to pander to a utility monopoly which has gone hard left.
