Liberalism Unmasked: Part Three | Eastern North Carolina Now

    I remember a cartoon character years ago, that said, "We have met the enemy, and he is us." Radical Liberalism is home grown. It is rare to find a college professor who is not a Liberal, and who teaches Liberalism in all of their classes. The violent protests of the 1960s spawned people like President Obama's friend Bill Ayers. Bill Ayers was responsible for murder and millions of dollars in property damage, but instead of going to jail he was allowed to become a college professor. He and the hundreds of others from that era found that they could change events better from the classroom than marching in the streets. As the students they indoctrinated became teachers Liberalism was passed to the next generation. And no matter how radical their views are, they can not be fired. Tenure provides a safe haven for the spread of Liberalism.

    The number of people to indentify themselves as Liberals and Tea Party Patriots are almost equal. The Tea Party 22% and Liberals 21%, but the big difference is the Tea Party is on the outside looking in, and the Liberals are firmly entrenched. How do we change it? Thomas Jefferson told us how in the Declaration of Independence.

    "..All men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness. That to secure these rights, Governments are instituted among Men, deriving their just powers from the consent of the governed. That whenever any form of government becomes destructive of these ends it is the Right of the People to alter or abolish it, and to institute a new government.

    The change I am suggesting must be done at the ballot box and not the ammo box. It is a fight that we have to win. We can no longer sit back and be Mr. Nice Guy, while the Liberals are intimidating us. We have to get just as mean, and fight just as dirty as they do. We can also read Saul Alinsky's book and organize our communities. We can take our signs out of moth balls and start marching again. Let Nancy Pelosi call the Tea Party "Astro Turf" that is OK we don't have to mow it; it gives us more time to protest against her.

    There are many reasons that we have to win this election, but this is a big one. If Obama gets a second term he will have the opportunity to appoint three and possibly four Supreme Court Justices. And you know what kind of judges he will appoint. It would be a completely liberal court that would liberalize the law of the land, and those judges would be on the court for 25 or 30 years. It is impossible to imagine how destructive that would be for the country. We must not let that happen.

    "One of the penalties for refusing to participate in politics is that you end up being governed by your inferiors," Plato. I guess nothing changes over time except the players, but it is a shame that we never learn. We keep making the same mistakes time and time again.

    The U.S. Department of Education has a staff of over 6,000 employees, and in 2009 its budget was $100 billion dollars. The current Secretary of the Department of Education is Arne Duncan, a friend of President Obama from Chicago. Mr. Duncan supports gay marriage and advances a gay agenda in schools. The Department of Education teaches no students; their function is to advance the Liberal agenda throughout all the schools in the United States. They work from the top down, so we have to start at the bottom and work up. We must vent people running for educational positions in the districts we live in and elect the best qualified candidates.

    Liberalism has almost destroyed the nuclear family especially in the black communities. In 2010, 66% of black families were headed by a single parent. I am sure it is higher than that now. In 1850, 64% of blacks lived in two parent households even on the plantations. Single parent households were 24%, and the other 12% lived with uncles, aunts or other relatives. In 1964, when Lyndon Johnson started his war on poverty, the percentage of single parent homes for the poor was little changed since 1850. It was 30%. Now, after spending trillions of dollars in the War on Poverty, in 2010, 66% of black families were headed by a single parent. Liberalism has achieved its goal of the breakup of the family. We have to start educating young girls of the dangers of unprotected sex, and stop looking at a baby as a payment for a car or TV set. Many children of single parent homes make out fine if they have a strong mother, but there are many others who fall behind in school and wind up in prison. We need to train these young men and woman with the skills they will need to make a living.

    Liberalism has succeeded in banishing God from our schools, and it creating a hostile atmosphere for any Christian activity. We can no longer pray before meeting in any public place. This doesn't apply to any other religion. Muslims can pray on the streets of New York where a Christian can't display a cross. The Ten Commandments have been banished from court rooms across the country, but they are still openly displayed at the Supreme Court. The ACLU is openly hostile to any Christian or pro-USA symbol, because they were formed to do exactly that. One of the founders was deported to Russia for her open Communist views. As a result of Liberalism our children are being denied their religious heritage which has left a vacuum in their lives that they are trying to fill with drugs, booze, and promiscuity. The United States was founded on the belief of freedom of religion and the belief in God; therefore, we must vigorously defend our heritage in the courts, with the ballot box, and in the streets if necessary. Don't be intimidated when you are called a Christian, be proud of it and stand up for what you believe.

    Liberals lie in order create fear and mistrust among the voters. They invent the problem, and then say that they will fix it for you. For example, they tell the elderly that the Republicans will take away their social security. Well that is a lie. It has been the Democratic Party that has robbed the Social Security trust fund. For many of us, we have paid into social security all of our lives, so why do we have to pay taxes on what we draw out. It is our money, and we know it hasn't drawn any interest. President Bill Clinton started taxing social security in 1993. Before that the amount you received was based on any income that you might have earned in addition to social security.

    Lyndon Johnson used the surplus social security payments to finance the Vietnam War. Jimmy Carter allowed illegal immigrants to start drawing social security although they had never paid a dime into the system. Of course, he was also, the president who gave away the Panama Cannel. Liberals have no compunction about stealing our money.

    Now that we all know what Liberalism is and what its goal is, perhaps we can come together as a nation and fight it. I am not saying it will be easy because it won't. But if we don't do something, the consequences are just too horrible to contemplate.

    Let's get organized and involved. Fight on! Get it done!
