Hollywood Leftist Debra Messing Calls Out Media In Viral Tweet For Downplaying Christmas Parade Attack | Eastern North Carolina Now

    Actress and Democratic activist Debra Messing called out the left-wing media this week for downplaying an attack that left at least six dead and dozens injured in Waukesha, Wisconsin.

    As highlighted by The Daily Wire, the media have curiously avoided investigation into motive and referred to the attack as a "crash," and blamed the "tragedy" on an "SUV."

    "Dear Mainstream Media-a man intentionally drove his car through a parade killing 6 and injuring 50+. It was not an ACCIDENT," Messing tweeted. "Call it by its name#WaukeshaMassacre."

    "And it was a domestic terror attack. Don't minimize. Please," added the "Will & Grace" star.

    The tweet quickly went viral, racking up more than 40,000 likes in a matter of days. Folks who have far different political views than Messing told the actress they agreed with her, joking about their shock. Messing replied to one such tweet with a laughing emoji.

    On Sunday afternoon, a male suspect, who will not be named per Daily Wire policy against naming mass killers, allegedly plowed through a Christmas parade in Wisconsin, injuring dozens and killing at least six individuals, including an 8-year-old boy.

    "The driver of a red Ford Escape broke through barricades and ran through dozens of parade marchers on Sunday afternoon in Waukesha, Wisconsin," The Daily Wire reported at the time. "Video of the incident shows the SUV striking multiple parade marchers, including children. Witnesses described mass hysteria with people screaming and others laying stunned on the pavement."
