    Mr. Levie Jerome Hardy, Jr., age 54, a resident of Horse Pen Swamp Road, Washington, passed away Friday, January 14, 2022 at his home.

    The funeral arrangements will be announced.

    The following will serve as pallbearers: Allen Hardy, Blount Hardy, John Hardy, Jackson Hardy, Brian Waters, and Mickey Waters.

    Mr. Hardy was born in Washington, N.C. on November 13, 1967. He was the son of Janet Carawan Williams and the late Levie Jerome Hardy, Sr. Mr. Hardy was a welder/fabricator for Oak Ridge Industries. He was a hard worker and a jack of all trades. In his spare time, Mr. Hardy enjoyed riding his horse in the Uwharrie National Forest. He was a proud grandfather to Carter and Cash, whom he loved dearly.

    Mr. Hardy is survived by his son, Scott Hardy and wife, Allison of Washington; two grandsons, Carter Jerome Hardy, Cash Williams Hardy; mother, Janet Carawan Williams of Chocowinity; two sisters, Wanda Hardy Mayo and husband, Kenneth of Washington, Susan Hardy Cordon and husband, Bob of Bath; one niece and three nephews.

    The family will receive friends at other times at his son, Scott's home, 1368 Horse Pen Swamp Road, Washington.
