Press Release:

    Good afternoon,

The Republican National Committee (RNC) surpassed 100,000 voter contacts this past weekend as part of their continued grassroots effort to mobilize voters across North Carolina. These voter contacts were initiated by the RNC's team of over 3,000 trained volunteers in North Carolina, which is expected to expand throughout the 2022 Midterm election cycle.

"Reaching 100,000 voter contacts so early into the cycle reinforces the momentum Republicans have heading into the midterm elections. Every time a volunteer has a conversation with an undecided voter, that voter becomes more likely to get out the vote, and with the RNC's extensive grassroots efforts to mobilize voters, Republicans can be expected to win big in November."-RNC Spokeswoman Alex Nolley

Voter contact is any interaction a volunteer has with a potential voter. During these contacts, volunteers and voters discussed issues directly impacting North Carolinians and how the Biden administration has negatively affected their families, industries and livelihoods.

This 100,000 milestone is especially important as the RNC kicks off its National Week of Training this Friday. The week-long operation by the RNC will train thousands of volunteers across the country ahead of the midterm elections, and will also discuss the RNC's ongoing efforts to ensure elections are safe and secure. Throughout the week volunteers will learn how to mobilize their communities to help elect Republicans up and down the ballot in November.
