Donnie Ruth Pinkham Woolard | Eastern NC Now

    Mrs. Donnie Ruth Pinkham Woolard, age 86, a resident of Washington, NC died Saturday January 29, 2022 at Vidant Beaufort Hospital.

    A graveside funeral service will be held 11:00 a.m. Thursday February 3, 2022 at Pamlico Memorial Gardens officiated by Pastor Gary Bateman. Pallbearers will be Joey Pinkham, Eric Ford, Stetson Mann, Chubby Woolard, Troy Pinkham and Donnie Cutler. Honorary pallbearers will be Gary Wayne Woolard, Bobby Gray Woolard and Buddy Woolard.

    The family will receive friends at the home.

    Mrs. Woolard was born in Beaufort County on March 4, 1935, daughter of the late Frazier Thomas Pinkham and the late Mamie Congleton Pinkham. She was a graduate of Washington High School. On August 24, 1956 she married Donald Ray Woolard who preceded her in death on October 16, 2021. She was a seamstress with Sampson's Shirt Factory and later worked in the Home Health Care field. Her priority was her family and she loved cooking, working in the yard, and visiting the elderly. Mrs. Woolard was a member of Alligood Church of God.

    Survivors include her sons: Ronnie Woolard, Ted Woolard, Toby Woolard (Anita) all of Washington; a sister: Mary P Patterson of Chesapeake, VA; grandchildren: Courtney Blount (James) Nick Woolard, Coby Woolard (Victoria) Stacy Woolard and Donna Jackson; many great grandchildren, great great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. Mrs. Woolard was predeceased by a son: Danny Ray Woolard; a daughter-in-law: Sharon Woolard; and brothers: Edward Earl Pinkham, Lee Taylor Pinkham, Frazier Pinkham, and James Pinkham.
