Alberta scraps vaxx passports, mask requirement; Austria does random checks | Eastern NC Now

The Conservative-run province of Alberta has responded to Canada's Freedom Convoy by ending vaccine passports and mask requirements immediately.  Energy and mineral rich Alberta is a key player in Canada's economy.  Other western provinces have made announcements recently in ending much of the virus nanny state.

Another province ditching mask and vaccine requirements is Conservative-run Saskatchewan.

Meanwhile, across the pond, Austrian police have begun randomly stopping citizens to check their vaccine status, which is frighteningly similar to the famous "papers, please" challenge of the Nazi police.  But then again, Hitler WAS born in Austria, after all.
