Lou Ann Woolard Gaskins | Eastern North Carolina Now

    Mrs. Lou Ann Woolard Gaskins, age 84, a resident of Washington, NC died Tuesday February 22, 2022, at her home.

    A graveside funeral service will be held 1:00 p.m. Friday February 25, 2022, at Oakdale Cemetery. The service will be officiated by Ric Watford.

    A visitation will be held 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Thursday February 24, 2022, at Paul Funeral Home & Crematory in Washington and other times at the home of Todd & Nikki Cutler located at 5004 Old Washington Road, Washington, NC 27889.

    Mrs. Gaskins was born in Beaufort County on July 2, 1937, daughter of the late Charlie Jackson Woolard and the late Ruth Alligood Woolard. She was a 1955 graduate of Bath High School and a member of Athens Chapel church of Christ. She married Joseph Howard Gaskins, Jr. who preceded her in death on February 9, 2014. She served her family as a homemaker. Her hobbies were doing crafts and working in her flower gardens.
