Russians bomb Orthodox monastery housing 1,000 refugees | Eastern NC Now

While there is little military movement recently in the Ukraine war, Russia has been implicated in a spate of new war crimes.
A Russian Orthodox monastery in eastern Ukraine housing 1,000 refugees including 200 children was bombed by a Russian war plane. Through good fortune no refugees were killed although a number were wounded. Also, in eastern Ukraine, Russian forces shelled a refugee evacuation train, killing a conductor and injuring another.
In an incident in a town north of Kyiv, Irpin, Russian soldiers shot and killed one American journalist while wounding a second American journalist, who were filming refugees. The journalists had just passed a military checkpoint when Russian soldiers opened fire on their car.
