Vidant Health, Workforce Development Board and NCWorks to hold Virtual Career Fair for Certified Nursing Assistants | Eastern NC Now

On Thursday, March 24, 2022 from 10:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m., Vidant Health in partnership with the Rivers East Workforce Development Board and NCWorks will host a Virtual Job Fair featuring Certified Nursing Assistant I & 2 job openings.

    Washington, N.C. - On Thursday, March 24, 2022 from 10:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m., Vidant Health in partnership with the Rivers East Workforce Development Board and NCWorks will host a Virtual Job Fair featuring Certified Nursing Assistant I & 2 job openings.

    During this virtual job fair, individuals will have the opportunity to meet with representatives from each of the Vidant Health hospitals located throughout eastern North Carolina. The virtual platform will enable employers and job seekers to connect through the live chat, one-on-one or group video chat features for virtual, on-the-spot interviews.

    Interested individuals can register for this virtual job fair by going to http://tinyurl.com/VidantCNA. Participants will be required to upload their resumes in pdf format in order to apply for the Certified Nursing Assistant openings.

    Jennie Bowen, Workforce Development Director states, "During the Covid-19 Pandemic we have seen virtual job fairs as a viable and efficient way to provide services and connect job seekers directly with local employers like Vidant Health. Participation in this job fair along with other services provided by our NCWorks Career Centers have been and remain available at no cost to anyone in need of assistance. In addition, our Career Centers offer a variety of services that help prepare individuals for job search-related needs. If you or someone you know is looking for a job, or if you are an employer who would like to participate in an in-person or virtual job fair, please reach out to your local NCWorks Career Center."

    This virtual event is managed by the Rivers East Workforce Development Board, and funded by the DOL Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act state set aside through a special Center Enhancement Grant totaling $350,000.
