RNC Registers Voters At Gas Stations As North Carolinians Feel The Toll Of Biden Gas Hike | Eastern North Carolina Now

    In case you missed it, the Republican National Committee (RNC) launched a nationwide initiative to register voters at gas stations this Saturday, beginning in North Carolina, Arizona and Florida.

    As gas hits record high prices because of Joe Biden's anti-American energy agenda, voters are feeling the pain at the pump. RNC Chairwoman Ronna McDaniel joined Fox & Friends to discuss the voter registration initiative.

    Under Joe Biden, North Carolina gas prices hit the highest level ever recorded and the average American household will potentially be forced to spend up to an additional $2,000 on gas this year because of Biden's gas hike.

    The Republican National Committee kicked off a nationwide voter registration initiative by registering voters at gas stations across Mecklenburg County.

    The initiative in three states: North Carolina, Arizona, and Florida, comes as gas prices hit some of their highest levels ever recorded.

    AAA Carolinas data shows the highest levels of a gallon of gas and diesel were recorded on March 11, 2022. The price of a gallon of regular unleaded gas was $4.19 and diesel was $5.12.

    Republicans say that President Joe Biden has "worked to end American energy independence on Day 1" by canceling the Keystone pipeline, issuing a moratorium on new oil and gas permits on federal lands, green lighting the Nord Stream 2 pipeline, opposing sanctions on the Nord Stream 2 pipeline in the U.S. Senate, and rejoining the Paris Climate Agreement.

    The Biden administration has attempted to pin the blame for higher gas prices and inflation on Russia's invasion of Ukraine.
