Mr. Leroy Tetterton, Jr. | Eastern NC Now

    Mr. Leroy Tetterton, Jr., age 79, a resident of Boyd Loop Rd., Pinetown, NC, died Monday, October 29, 2012, at Vidant Beaufort Hospital.

    A graveside celebration of his life will be held Friday, November 2, 2012, at 11:00 AM at Pamlico Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends immediately following the service and at other times at the home.

Mr. Tetterton was born in Bath, NC on November 28, 1932, son of the late Leroy and Bertie Harris Tetterton. He was retired from Ford Motor Company in Norfolk, VA. Mr. Tetterton was a member of Great Bridge Masonic Lodge #257 in Chesapeake, VA and the Pinetown Church of Christ.

    He is survived by his daughter, Elizabeth Carol Lacher and her husband Paul and son Terry Tetterton, both of Chesapeake, VA; his sisters, Shirley T. Jackson of Chesapeake, VA and Della Mae Kerr of New Bern, NC; his granddaughters, Whitney and Katie, both of Chesapeake, VA and his ex-wife, Shirley S. Tetterton of Chesapeake, VA.

    The family requests that memorials be made to Masonic Home for Children at Oxford, 600 College St., Oxford, NC 27565.
