Electric bus catches fire after battery explodes, Paris | Eastern NC Now
2nd one in a month
A state-owned public transport operator in Paris, France, the Régie Autonome des Transports Parisiens, has pulled out 149 electric buses from its fleet after two of them spontaneously exploded within the same month.
Electric busses the climate (people) control group claims are good for the environment. Looking at all that black smoke, says something entirely different. Think of all the electric vehicles that have already caught fire either while being driven or being charged, some also burning down homes. And the govt. wants to put more of these things on the road?

That smoke is highly toxic from burning lithium. Breathing it can cause severe injury and even death. Lithium batteries do the same thing in electric cars. That is why GM recalled every Chevy Bolt it has ever built and warned anyone who kept the cars not to park them within 50 feet of a building or another car. Every injury from a Chevy Bolt fire has been from people breathing the smoke. Tesla has had the same problem, with one of their cars spontaneously combusting parked outside a home in Pennsylvania a few months ago, causing both car and house to be total losses.
