Ms. Stella Rose Crivello Boesen | Eastern North Carolina Now

    Ms. Stella Rose Crivello Boesen, age 77, a resident of Ocean City, MD, died Sunday, November 11, 2012, at Vidant Beaufort Hospital.

    A celebration of her life will be held Thursday, November 15, 2012 at 7:00 PM in the chapel of Hillside Funeral Service. The family will receive friends immediately following the service.

Ms. Boesen was born in Monterey, CA on May 6, 1935, daughter of the late Joseph and Stella Bellici Crivello. She was married to Gerald Boesen who predeceased her. Ms. Boesen was a cashier for Fun City Arcade in Ocean City, MD where she lived for 20 years. She was a member of the Eagles Club and the American Legion in Ocean City.

    Ms. Boesen is survived by her daughter, Julie Shepherd and husband Jamie of Bath; her sons, John Boesen and wife Shannon of Portland, TX and Jerry Boesen of Gaithersburg, MD; three sisters, one brother, six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

    In lieu of flowers the family requests that memorials be made to the American Heart Association, 4217 Park Place Court, Glen Allen, VA 23060.
