Are RINO ''GOP'' leaders deliberately trying to crash the red wave for 2022? | Eastern NC Now

series of liberal moves may disillusion GOP base

ENCNow

Off year elections like 2022 are largely decided by whose base is most energized.  As RINO legislative leaders in DC and Raleigh keep pushing liberal policies that upset their own base, it makes one wonder if they have a death wish for their own party.  If Republican voters start deciding their own leaders are as bad as the Democrats, they may not bother to go to the polls.

It also makes no sense to be dealing on major policy issues with Democrats while Democrats are still in a position of strength.  If you have to deal on issues, wait until the GOP has House and Senate majorities less than a year from now and deal with them when we have a position of strength.

Look at all the issues the RINOs are trying to cave in to the Democrats on in Raleigh, Washington, DC, or both - gun control, immigration, green new deal, Obamacare Medicaid expansion, balanced budget, etc.  And look at who is steering the GOP ship onto the rocks.  It is the legislative leaders, Mitch McConnell in the US Senate, Phil Berger in the state Senate, and Tim Moore in the state House.  Kevin McCarthy is a RINO through and through but at least he seems to have better political sense on this one.

If the GOP does not replace these traitors McConnell, Berger, and Moore, then maybe we deserve to lose.  They are trying to snatch defeat out of the jaws of victory..  Rush Limbaugh liked to call these types RINOs, and some of the writers at Red State like to call them Vichy Republicans after the Nazi-collaborator Vichy regime in occupied France.  There are newer terms for them like DIANs (Democrats In All but Name) of DIDs (Democrats in Drag).

We also have to replace those RINOs / Vichy Republicans like John Cornyn and Thom Tillis that are in the thick of selling out to the Democrats.
