Patricia Lynne Lilley | Eastern NC Now

    Ms. Patricia Lynne Lilley, age 55, a resident of Pantego, NC died Tuesday, July 12, 2022, at her home.

    A graveside funeral service will be held 11:00 A.M. Friday, July 15, 2022, at Belhaven Community Cemetery officiated by Rev. Reginald Saunders. The family will receive friends at the home of Patricia's brother: Buddy Lilley located at 1181 West Pantego Street, Belhaven.

    Patricia was born in Belhaven on March 22, 1967, daughter of the late Matthew Mayo Lilley, Jr. and Frances Estell Jarvis Lilley who survives. She attended John A. Wilkinson High School and continued her education at Beaufort County Community College. In college she became a Nursing Assistant 1 and Nursing Assistant 2. She was working at Pantego Rest Home as a nursing manager and had worked there many years. Some would say Patricia was a workaholic, but she loved her family and dearly loved her grandchildren who she thought could do no wrong. She was a member of First Missionary Baptist Church in Terra Ceia.

    Surviving along with her mother: Frances of Belhaven are her sons: Maurice Weston, Jr. of Belhaven, and Paul Griffin Glisson III of Belhaven; a brother: Matthew "Buddy" Mayo Lilley III (Lori) of Belhaven; grandchildren: Maurice Weston III of Pantego, and Khalih Davis of Belhaven; a niece: Patricia Ricks of Washington; a great nephew: Zavion Ricks of Washington; and a great niece Lamaria Cutler of Washington.
