Onie "Frances" Rogerson | Eastern NC Now

    Miss Onie "Frances" Rogerson, age 68, a former resident of Blounts Creek, died Thursday, July 28, 2022, at Ridgewood Manor Nursing Home in Washington.

    Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM Sunday, July 31, 2022, from the Chapel of Paul Funeral Home & Crematory in Washington, conducted by Marty Alligood. Burial will follow in Warren Memorial Cemetery in Blounts Creek.

    The following will serve as pallbearers: Jesse Speiser, Chip Parnell, Mac Beddard, Dalton Rogerson II, Matthew Whitaker, and Ricky Minniti.

    Miss Frances was born in Beaufort County on January 24, 1954. She was the daughter of the late Godfrey Dalton Rogerson and Callie Nannie Parnell Beddard. Miss Frances was a member of the Seventh Day Adventist Church of Washington and attended Elizabeth Chapel Church of Christ.

    Miss Frances is survived by her brother, William Dalton Rogerson and wife, Sophie of Williamston; sister, Faye Whitaker and husband, Johnny of Williamston; and two stepsisters, Jean Minnitti of Blounts Creek, Kay Hopkins and husband, Gene of Edward.

    In addition to her parents, Miss Frances was preceded in death by two half-brothers, Allen Taylor, and Robert Taylor; two stepbrothers, Kenneth Beddard and W.B. Beddard; stepsister, Ilene Broesche and half sister, Delores Taylor.

    The family will receive friends from 1:00 PM to the funeral hour Sunday at Paul Funeral Home & Crematory and other times at the home of her brother, Dalton Rogerson, 2566 Joe Mobley Road, Williamston, N.C.
