Florida Republican Governor Ron DeSantis slammed doctors who perform transgender surgeries on young children during a press conference this week, saying that they needed to be held legally liable for their actions.

DeSantis talked about the need to defend "very young kids" from getting what the political Left has proclaimed is "gender affirming care."

"But they don't tell you what that is, is they are actually giving very young girls double mastectomies, they want to castrate these young boys," DeSantis insisted. "That's wrong, and so we've stood up and said both from the health and children well-being perspective, you don't disfigure 10, 12, 13-year-old kids based on gender dysphoria."

"Eighty percent of it resolves anyways by the time they get older," DeSantis continued. "So why would you be doing this?"

"I think these doctors need to get sued for what's happening," DeSantis concluded.

DeSantis' remarks at the press conference came after he sought Tuesday to dispense with any confusion the media or educators may have about what can and can't be taught in classrooms when bells ring this fall.

DeSantis, who has championed a law aimed at returning to academic basics amid the Left's increasing emphasis on imposing liberal social mores on children, said it comes down to the three Rs. The Republican governor's tweet followed a Washington Post report that claimed Florida school officials are "plagued by confusion and uncertainty about what a raft of new laws." They needn't be, DeSantis said.

"As students head back to their classrooms this fall, I'm happy to clear up any 'confusion' the media may have about appropriate curriculum: ✅ Math, Reading, Writing ❌ CRT, Sexualized Content, Transgender Ideology Florida schools will educate children, not indoctrinate them," DeSantis tweeted.

In April, DeSantis signed House Bill 7, which, according to an explainer of the bill, stated that Florida education would not include "indoctrinating students with CRT principles such as":

Members of one race, color, national origin, or sex are morally superior. A person, by virtue of his or her race, color, national origin, or sex is inherently racist, sexist, or oppressive. A person's moral character or status as either or oppressed is necessarily determined by his or her race, color, national origin, or sex. Such virtues as merit, excellence, hard work, fairness, neutrality, objectivity, and racial colorblindness are racist or sexist.

"No one should be instructed to feel as if they are not equal or shamed because of their race," DeSantis stated. "In Florida, we will not let the far-left woke agenda take over our schools and workplaces. There is no place for indoctrination or discrimination in Florida."

Inarguably, the policies of the Democrats in congress and Joe Biden as the Executive is plunging the United States into a recession, if we are not already there; a recession that was completely avoidable. Will abrupt changes in policies occur in time?
Yes, the Democrats have a bold plan, yet to be revealed, to save us.
No, there will have to be a complete undoing of the damage done by these Democrats.
I can't do simple math, so how am I to understand the concept of basic economics.

With Roe v Wade (originated in 1973) overturned by the US Supreme Court, thereby allowing decisions on abortion legislation completely returned to the states: Where do you find your position on such a "Life and Death" issue for the American People?
Yes, I approve of the US Supreme Court's decision to reinstate this "medical" issue back to the states' legislative responsibility to regulate.
No, I believe that every woman should have complete access to abortion on demand.
This issue is far beyond my intellectual capacity to understand.

With respect to the leaked opinion not yet written for ratification regarding the U.S. Supreme Court's revisiting the original decision of Roe v Wade, whence now nonstop protests have erupted in neighborhoods where U.S. Supreme Court justices live, exhibiting the firm intent to intimidate these officers of the highest court in the land: What action should the federal authorities take?
Do nothing ... Protests are a fixture of a free society.
Enforce the law ... Federal codes exist to prohibit any intimidation through the pubic harassment of federal judges, especially Supreme Court justices.
I have no idea, however, northern Virginia School Board Members must be shielded from protests at all costs.
