Mr. Rapha Ray Felts | Eastern NC Now

    Mr. Rapha Ray Felts, age 47, a resident of 103 Hamilton Street, Washington, NC and a former resident of Roanoke Rapids, NC went to be with his Lord on Tuesday December 18, 2012 in Augusta, Ga.

    A funeral service will be held 2:00 PM Saturday December 22, 2012 at the Chapel of Paul Funeral Home & Crematory of Washington. The family will receive friends 12:30 until the funeral hour on Saturday at Paul Funeral Home & Crematory of Washington and other times at the home. Burial will follow in Oakdale Cemetery of Washington. Caswell Felts, Gary Siddens, Jerry Davis, Harold Susko, Brian Oliver and Jason Moore will serve as pallbearers.

    Ray was born in Wake County on June 26, 1965 to the late Louis Douglas Felts and Rosalee Harris Felts, who survives. On September 10, 2011, Mr. Felts married the former Frances Susko, who survives. Mr. Felts was employed with The Roberts Construction Company and was working on a project in Augusta, Ga. Ray loved Frances with his whole heart. He loved cooking, fishing, getting together with family and friends. Above all, he loved his family.

    In addition to his mother; Rosalee Felts of Camden, SC and his wife Frances Felts of the home, Mr. Felts is survived by a sister Cassandra and her husband Danny Davis; sister Susan Lane; brother Caswell Felts and his wife Tamie Felts. He was Uncle Rafe to Greg Bibbey, Jeremy and Matthew Lane, Emmylou Todd, Elaina Felts, Davis Felts and Abigail Felts.
