3rd group of Russian politicians demand Putin resign | Eastern NC Now

A third group of Russian politicians have now risked their lives to demand the resignation of dictator Vladimir Putin over his failing Ukraine invasion.  The first two groups, which began with the town council of Putin's hometown, also called for him to be indicted for treason for his invasion of Ukraine.

This comes as Russian troops suffered a humiliating defeat in the Kharkiv region in northern Ukraine to a fast moving Ukrainian counteroffensive and Ukraine is making steady progress in another counteroffensive near Kherson in the south.  Ukraine has cut Russia's principle supply lines to its forces in the Donbas.  In revenge, Russia has struck Ukrainian power plants with missiles.
