Mr. Major Churchill Lewis II | Eastern NC Now

    Mr. Major Churchill Lewis II, age 36, a resident of Ernul and formerly of Washington, died Sunday, January 6, 2013, as a result of an automobile accident.

    Funeral services will be 1:00 p.m. Thursday, January 10, 2013, at Paul Funeral Home & Crematory of Washington and will be conducted by the Rev. Billy Hacker and the Rev. David Linton. Burial will follow in Celestial Memorial Gardens in Vanceboro. Jay Howell, Craig Hudson, Tyler May, Billy Midgette, Justin Little and Major Lewis will serve as pallbearers.

   Churchill was born in Beaufort County on August 23, 1976, to the late Major Churchill Lewis, Sr. and Judy Hill Anderson who survives. On August 21, 2008, he married Adrianne Marie Parker who survives. He worked as an electrician for 10 years and was employed with WST Industries. Churchill was a member of St. Paul's Pentecostal Holiness Church in Greenville.

    Survivors include his wife, Adrianne P. Lewis, his mother, Judy Hill Anderson of the home, one daughter, Kaitlin Ann Lewis of Chocowinity, one brother, Allen T. Lewis and wife Jeannie of Williamston, one sister, Mary Little and husband Justin of New Bern, four nephews, one niece and many beloved aunts and uncles.

    The family will receive friends from 11:00 a.m. until 12:45 p.m. prior to the service on Thursday at the funeral home.
