In the shadow of the political assassination of Charlie Kirk, founder of Turning USA, a stain now exists upon our nation's collective conscious, a condition that must be excised, or our nation will not function properly as one of a self-governed people. Understanding these long standing truths: What would you suggest as a quick, and, or proper corrective measure?

18.18% Destroy the Fascist Donald Trump and all of MAGA, because America must never be Great Again.

81.82% Our self-governed people, and their properly restored institutions, under President Trump, must discover the root causes to properly correct, and save our Constitutional Republic.

0% I thought we had to shut down Free Speech we don't like to save our "democracy," so I am totally confused now.

    This past Wednesday, September 28, 2022, three schools in Beaufort County District 8 participated in the annual “See You at the Pole” prayer event. “See You at the Pole” (SYATP) is an international event when Christian students gather at their school flag poles. The fourth Wednesday in September is the designated day for SYATP which is traditionally a student-led event with the sole purpose of lifting up prayers for school, country, and each other. This was the first time in several years Beaufort County Schools in District 8 observed SYATP.

    In a time when prayer is desperately needed across America, it was a blessing to see our young people at Bath Elementary, Northeast Elementary and Northside High coming together for a collective time of prayer. This year’s event was very successful and there is already talk about next year’s SYATP. A special thanks goes out to principals, staff and especially students who took the lead and made this very special event happen.

Great to see that so many are determined to see that a student's right to pray are still available in our schools. I would hope that every principal would allow Christian Student groups to gather together to pray, and more often than once a year.

Thank you! I graduated WHS in 78'. I never heard of any prayer meetings back then. I learned to pray in 81' when The Lord drew me to Himself and saved me from my sins. God bless you in your ministry to our young people. So many bad things are available today. I appreciate you encouraging one of the best things in life: prayer to The God of Scripture in the Name of Jesus Christ.
