Boy, Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi is one rugged gal. Based on the latest January 6 footage, she is such a brawler that she must think she is a regular Robert De Niro.

On Friday, The Daily Wire reported that Pelosi was recorded by her daughter - who for some reason was filming the entire day at the Capitol - threatening to give former President Donald J. Trump a knuckle sandwich if he even dared approach the building.

"I hope he comes, I'm going to punch him out," Pelosi said. "I've been waiting for this. For trespassing on the Capitol grounds, I'm going to punch him out. And I'm going to go to jail, and I'm going to be happy."

Pelosi's comments were reminiscent of one of the greatest American actors in the last 50 years - the aforementioned De Niro.

In 2016, before Trump even won the election, the two-time Academy Award winner released a monologue making disparaging comments about the then-GOP nominee and expressing his desire to knock his lights out.

"I mean he's so blatantly stupid," the "Raging Bull" star said. "He's a punk. He's a dog. He's a pig. He's a con, a bulls*** artist, a mutt who doesn't know what he's talking about, doesn't do his homework, doesn't care ... he's an idiot."

Then - just as Pelosi said more than four years later - the Hollywood actor claimed he wanted to throw a haymaker at Trump's mean mug.

"It makes me so angry that this country has gotten to this point that this fool, this bozo has wound up where he has. He talks how he wants to punch people in the face," De Niro claimed. "Well, I'd like to punch him in the face."

De Niro, of course, pretends to be a fighter in the movies. Pelosi pretends to be one in D.C.

De Niro is widely respected and wields power in his field. Pelosi has a stranglehold on the Democratic Party and is a skillful politician - even if her policies don't benefit the American people.

While they both might be - objectively speaking - good at their jobs and advancing their own interests, that doesn't actually make them the tough guys they play on the big screen.

The Democrat leadership has made constant, profound and incredible pronouncements that one's supportive vote for Republicans is tantamount to surrendering Democracy forever. Understanding their sincere thinking in their extreme position: How will you still vote on this election day?
Democrat; because the continuance of this Democracy from the existential threat of extreme Republicans is paramount.
Republican; the process of having a choice is the democratic method within what so called "Democracy" does exists.
For the best candidate; and to be clear: This Constitutional Republic /this Representative Republic is not a Democracy, and never has been.
