GOP Senators work to delay leadership vote on McConnell | Eastern NC Now

Republican senators are working to delay the vote on new Senate leadership, hoping to dethrone Mitch McConnell, a RINO who is a notorious collaborator with the Democrats and Biden and has a history of working against conservatives.  McConnell once vowed "to crush them [conservatives] everywhere."   McConnell wants a quick vote before his opponents can organize, but GOP senators say it is essential to wait until the runoff in Georgia to give Hershcel Walker a chance to vote.

McConnell is under fire for pulling money out of close races against Democrat senators to send the money to RINO Lisa Murkowski, who under Alaska's weird election system was facing a conservative Republican challenger.   He is also under fire for some of his statements during the campaign trashing Republican candidates and for financing vicious negative campaigns against conservatives in primaries.

That the groundswell against McConnell comprises more than the usual conservative group is shown by the leadership role in opposing McConnell being played by Sen. Marco Rubio, who in the past has had good relations with the establsihment wing of the party.
