Mr. David Harvey Noe of Washington, NC, joined the church triumphant on February 5, 2013. He was a graduate of Washington High School Class of 1963. He attended Wilson Technical College. He retired from the U.S. Navy.

    Mr. David Harvey Noe of Washington, NC, joined the church triumphant on February 5, 2013. He was a graduate of Washington High School Class of 1963. He attended Wilson Technical College. He retired from the U.S. Navy. He worked and retired from Proctor and Gamble in Greenville, NC. He was an active member in the First United Methodist Church of Washington where he helped with the Caring Christian Carpenters and as an usher.

    Mr. Noe loved the water and spent many hours fishing and sailing on the Pamlico River. Following retirement, he and his wife, Gail, enjoyed traveling visiting many beautiful countries and destinations in the United States.

    Mr. Noe is preceded in death by his parents: Blythe Hilton Noe, Sr. and Florence Elizabeth Smith Noe and a brother: Blythe Hilton Noe, Jr.

    Mr. Noe is survived by his wife Gail Elizabeth Noe of the home, a sister: Mary Elizabeth Noe, a stepson: David Preston Hoover and his wife Leana, a stepdaughter: Tammy Leigh Maxwell and husband Robert, a niece: Diane Noe Chandler and husband Mike, a nephew: Blythe Hilton Noe, III and wife Cheryl Lee, a niece: Stephanie Noe Glenn and husband Timothy. Mr. Noe has five step-grandchildren, two step-great-grandchildren and four great-nieces. Mr. Noe leaves behind beloved pets Prince Albert and Pumpkin.

    A funeral service will be held 11:00 a.m. Friday, February 8, 2013 at First United Methodist Church of Washington with the Rev. Danny Allen officiating. Interment will follow in the Church Prayer Garden.

    The family will receive friends on Thursday, February 7, 2013 from 5:00 p.m.-7:00 p.m. at Paul Funeral Home & Crematory of Washington, NC.
