Lisa Marie Presley's memorial plans were announced on Monday, with a public ceremony set for Sunday at Graceland in Memphis.

Lisa Marie, the daughter of the King of Rock and Roll Elvis Presley, died on January 12 after she suffered cardiac arrest at her California home. She was 54.

"A memorial service for Lisa Marie Presley has been arranged for Sunday, January 22 at 9:00 am on the front lawn at Graceland Mansion in Memphis, Tennessee," an announcement on Graceland's official website reads. "General public is invited to attend."

"In lieu of flowers, the family encourages all who wish to send something to do so in the form of a donation to The Elvis Presley Charitable Foundation," it added.

Presley will be buried at Graceland next to her late son, Benjamin Keough, who died by suicide in 2020, according to a family spokesperson. Elvis, the King of Rock and Roll, is also buried at Graceland, along with his parents and grandmother, People magazine noted.

Lisa Marie was the only daughter of Elvis and Pricilla and the sole inheritor of Graceland. At 9 years old, she was given the estate in a trust that was officially dissolved when she turned 25, according to the Graceland website. In 1993, she gained total ownership of the mansion.

The property will go to Lisa Marie's three daughters.

"The mansion is in a trust that will go to the benefit of her [Presley's] children," a spokesperson for Graceland told WMC.

Lisa Marie's mother, Priscilla, confirmed her death on January 12 hours after she was rushed to a hospital.

"My beautiful daughter Lisa Marie has left us," a statement from her mother read. "She was the most passionate strong and loving woman I have ever known. We ask for privacy as we try to deal with this profound loss. Thank you for the love and prayers. At this time there will be no further comment."
