Austria's anti-immigration Freedom Party most popular in country for first time | Eastern NC Now

Continued illegal alien migrant arrivals in Austria have led to a surge by the country's populist / nationalist anti-immigration Freedom Party. Now, for the first time in the party's history, it is polling as the most popular party in the country.
A recent poll by the Austrian newspaper Heute (Today), gives the Freedom Party the top spot at 28%, follwed by the Social Democrats at 24%, and the governing traditional conservative Peoples Party at 22%. Three other parties would win seats, the Green Party, the liberal NEOS party, and the satirical Beer Party.
