The European Union commissioner in charge of immigration has called for an increase in the repatriation of illegal alien migrants back to their home countries.  Since most illegal alien "asylum seekers" do not actually qualify under the law for asylum, they have often been left in limbo in Europe, and it is these illegal aliens which the EU is focusing on to send home.

False claims to asylum have been a major racket for illegal alien migrants on both sides of the Atlantic.  It is an issue that needs tackling in the US as well.

The asylum system is broken and needs to be severely tighened up both in Europe and in America. It is being severely abused by economic migrants who try to pass themselves off as refugees and claim asylum. This is the immigration reform that is most needed. Border walls and good border security is also essential. Anyone crossing illegal should be subject to being shot on sight.
